06.15.11 A Million Things

Oh, Wednesday. Since when did my day of rest become so tiresome?

My day was as follows:

1. Wake up at the crack of dawn for no apparent reason.
2. Skype best friend for several hours.
3.Go to Konami with Yoonkyung and Bea. Swim for an hour. Have a nice conversation with an 71 year old man in the pool who apparently thought you were Japanese until you took off your goggles. Then he thought you were Italian and was surprised when you said you're American.
4. Eat lunch next to Kintetsu Nara station at the same place from last week. Order something better than before, but still choose the meal with tofu. Give said tofu to Bea and Yoonkyung. Perfect.
5. Waste time in Yoonkyung's office.
6. Meet Hana and her friends to discuss how American culture differs from Japanese culture. Have fun, but fail at speaking Japanese-- as per usual.
7. Go to soccer practice for three hours. Repeat: three frickin' hours. Leave looking like you jumped in a pool.
8. Shower.
9. Go to Yoonkyung's to eat homemade Okonomiyaki.

10. Then devour muffins that your Love Love Hana chan bought you.

11. Watch Japanese television.
12. Cuddle Hana chan, the cutest Asian girl you ever did see.
13. Look at old Puri Kura pictures of Yoonkyung.
14. Marvel at how different she looks in just a few years time, then scold her for not dressing more like a lady when she's so beautiful.
15. Get kicked out of Yoonkyung's room with the instructions to go to bed early.
16. Lay down at 11:00 PM.

1,000,000,000. Get up at 3:00 AM to chat with the best friend because a million things are on your mind. Don't actually get to sleep until 8:30 AM.

Fail, Wednesday. Fail.
